FAQs

  • Will I get full access to the server?
    • While you will not get physical access to the server, your account will have full administrative access.
    • In the case of Linux, you will get root access and for Windows your access will be the administrator account.
    • You can also access the console by logging into the control panel and selecting the KVM link.
  • How long does it take to set up my server?
    • The cloud server takes about 15 minutes to set up and a confirmation email with further instructions will sent to you automatically by the system upon completion.
  • Can I change the CPU, RAM and other services?
    • Yes you can amend your service plans at any time. Should there be any credit balance due to the change of service plans, the balance will be credited into your account to be off set in the next billing cycle.
  • Is there a backup solution?
    • Yes you can opt to add backup for your cloud server. Unlike a simple snapshot, the backup is a full blown backup solution that allows users to restore complete files.
  • Do you have a control panel?
    • Yes you can opt to add Plesk Control to your server when you place your order. Adding a control panel must be decided at the time of placing the order as it will not be possible to add the control panel once the cloud server has already been provisioned and in use.
