About the Client

ECON Healthcare Group is a leading premium eldercare provider in Singapore and Malaysia and listed in Singapore Stock Exchange.

Integrating the best of East and West nursing care and medical practices, it has brought a holistic and innovative approach to healthcare in the region.

Currently, it operates 11 Medicare centers and nursing homes in Asia including a recently launched nursing home in Chongqing China.

Building upon extensive experience and expertise, Econ Healthcare has developed a unique set of capabilities towards the design conceptualisation, development, and management of elder-friendly and trusted patient care environments.

The Situation / Problem

From running clinical systems for patient care, to custom built TCM systems right through the hundreds of PCs and laptops used by the medical and operational staff across multiple locations will require extensive IT resources.

Adopting a hybrid IT approach, Econ deployed a mixture of on-prem and cloud-based systems while working with service providers to support and maintain the application systems.

However, it soon became clear that supporting the disparate systems and the increasing number of end- user devices would require additional investment in IT resources.

The upcoming challenges:

Econ was in need of support for mission critical IT Systems
Needing the right IT support to manage their hybrid IT systems across multiple devices at a cost effective approach
