According to the report by Nutanix Enterprise Cloud, Singapore businesses intend to cut traditional infrastructure adoption by around 60 percent from 42 percent to 17 percent. While in parallel hybrid cloud adoption is expected to substantially rise from 18 percent to 46 percent over the same period, a huge 150 percent jump.
Locally, the Singapore government is leading the way in cloud adoption having earmarked over S$870M worth of contracts in 2020 to double the systems on the cloud.

Not needing to invest in equipment (64%) : reduced (zero) Capex and lower operating costs
Agility (48%) : leveraging the latest technology and keeping up-to-date with emerging threats
