The Situation/Problem

The client, a large event management company planned to move their ERP system to the Public Cloud.

The requirements include a high level of Access control for staff to access the system from anywhere and at all times.

A real time security scanning and monitoring of security logs via a Security Operation Center (SOC) are pre-requisites.

The Solution

iWV reviewed the requirements and architected a solution to meet the client’s security and performance requirements.

The solution architecture used firewalls from different vendors and different network tiers to improve the security
The solution required Client Certificates to control access in addition to VPN services deployed.
For added security, real time data are sent to the SOC for monitoring and analysis
Backup services are put in place to ensure data are protected

The Results and Benefits

After a successful POC, the client now has a secure ERP system that is hosted on Azure Public Cloud with monitoring and managed support provided by iWV.
