Assistant Manager / Manager Customer Technical Support

Are you a self-confessed aficionado who enjoys tinkering with IT technologies? We are looking for a customer oriented and self-starter to lead and guide our technical support team for our cloud computing products and services.
The role supports the uptime, performance, monitoring and management of network and servers and ensuring that data center and cloud platform services are running at optimal level. You will be required to assist in managing the technical operation team responsible for installation, configuration and maintenance of the physical and virtualized servers as well as managed services.
An ideal candidate should be equipped with a minimal level 2 technical skillset and some supervisory experience in managing a team. In addition, the assistant manager / manager is also required to assist his team in customer support and troubleshooting.
What we seek in you?

✓ Good knowledge of Windows and Linux server operating systems

✓ Hands-on experience in setting up server hardware

✓ Experience with web technologies (Apache, Nginx, IIS, MySQL, MSSQL, PHP or .NET)

✓ Experience with network, cyber security and firewall solutions

✓ Ensure all operations are carried out professionally and efficiently

✓ Provide operational coaching and guidance to team members

✓ Ability to supervise, hire and train new team members

✓ Responsible for resource management and operational efficiency

✓ Improve operational and best practices of management systems and processes
